Costco Engine Oil

I picked up 12 gallons of Kirkland 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel oil with API-CK-4/SN. I'd like to know who makes the oil. I figure I'm alright with my older Cat 3406B. Plus it was $13/gallon. Good Luck, TomC

Who makes Costco's Kirkland oil?
Kirkland heavy-duty motor oil is made and blended by Warren distribution, the same company that manufactures Walmart's Super Tech brand. Warren distribution also has its brand of motor oil known as Mag 1 oil. In addition, Warren distribution blends motor oils for Meijer and AmazonBasic oils.

Warren makes it for WM too,name brand 15/40 oil at WM costs not much more,I bought 12 gals of Valvoline Blue for 16 bucks a gal at WM
