Matt is ok, bus was hit in January, guy ran into the front doing 40 mph, parked at his house. The bus is in Santa Ana, CA since May, at a repair shop. Yes insurance involved. Of course I've never know insurance to cover everything, especially on motor homes, even less on conversions. I suggested a go fund me page. At some point Matt will get on the forum, to answer questions. Nice guy, tough situation...

LOL every time I see Matt and the Beluga all I think about is the hours I spent at Rafi's concerts with the grand kids singing Baby Beluga, and The wheels on the bus go-around and around,

Matt rates up there with the world's most incredible people . We have the age old question of "why do bad things happen to good people?"
Great news that he, or his family was not involved.

Thanks for the positive thoughts, the bus is in good hands and the other guys insurance will cover all the damages. A young guy was doing 40mph a down my road at night with snow and ice. I live at a hairpin turn and he slid off the road, hit the front of the bus, the went through my neighbors garage. He was ok, but his 2022 Bronco was totaled.

sorryfor your dilema. with the pitiful settlement from the insurance company, best bet is to move to a newer bus or coach, already converted or shell.too many parts unobtanable.

And when you get it back, park something big in front of it for protection. Like an old school bus.
Rats! Did I say that outloud? Sandra is probably getting out her "Ted" voodoo doll right now and looking for needles....!

Glad you and yours are ok and hope you get your labor of love back in working order.

Yep, We have an address here for now and are fulltime until Wife gets done with her Liver therapy We have an address here for now and are fulltime until Wife gets done with her Liver therapy (she is at 40% and that is the most it has been in 25 years) and VA stuff. We are not going back to California and have been to many states but it is like the 50 and 60's here a little slower less people just a little windy-er than we like it in the winter fall time. Cheaper to live here. Both car and bus are plated and tagged in Pottowatomi county Kansas now. 80.00 for both and no inspections. Still have California Drivers licenses and addresses in both states and VA stuff.
