Hello all,

We are starting to consider how we want to paint our bus since the windows are going in soon, so...

Early in my journey of learning about these amazing pieces of machinery (about 3 years ago), there was a bus for sale that I really liked the paint job.

I think it was an MCI.  It was painted yellow and red and it looked like ice breaking off of a lake, I'll say.

AsI remember it was yellow in front and as the ice broke off it gradually turned to red to the back of the bus.

It's kind of hard to describe,I hope this may ring a bell for someone and you may know where I could find a picture of it to, not copy, but use as some inspiration.

It's interesting because about 15 years ago in Casper WY we saw an F350 truck with the same kind of paint scheme only White in front turning to purple.

Anyway, if anyone know of this bus or a picture of something like this I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks

Seb

Thanks, yes will continue searching.  I wish I had downloaded the picture when it was for sale.

You're welcome!!  I'm pretty sure I've seen every bus conversion (transit) video on YouTube, and most of them twice.  Not crazy about the design but it was interesting to see how he painted it.  The other bus videos in this series are good as well.  Glad I could help.

I recall seeing that bus and knew it was the one you were looking for, but I tried googling "red and yellow buses", and it didn't show up!

To each his own but that is one ugly paint job but is truly different, I was expecting a lot of paint fading to look like ice
