Has anyone installed Ceramic Window Tint to block heat transfer?

have seen several positive comments on the Prevost forum on Facebook. Car sites like it too. Clear and still significant heat blockage.

Yes, I did it. Expensive, but a noteable difference. Non of the shops that i went to had room for a bus. I also changed to a 15K AC from a 13.5. Together, made it more comfortable...

What I remember in my research was there would be significant waste of the film per window.

At least the brand I looked at.

However, if it is effective I suppose that shouldn't matter.

We had a tint company come to the house and tint 3 windows that get the direct sun. The ceramic tint did make a noticeable difference in the amount of heat that comes in. They were in and gone in less than an hour and did a perfect job. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be just as willing to do a bus that way. Of course, their shop is only a couple miles away.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

Is the main reason for this product is it provides the thermal benefit while not tinting the panels? How does this compare to tinted product? Say a 10% tint vs the ceramic?

If this ceramic product provides protection but doesn't actually tint the windows, would it be legal and practical to install on the windshield too?

Mine was on the windshields, they're clear. Mine came in three degrees of tint if you wanted. lvmci...

3M makes a rock chip film for windshields that is legal in all states so is their 1-way tint film for glaring on coming head lights,I had both installed and really like the 1 way film because of LED lights
