The flasher unit can be in one of two places. Either inside the exterior electrical panel under the driver's window.

or

Inside the driver's compartment on the post to the left of where the clutch pedal would be, facing the front of the bus.

MCI moved them, depending on who was doing the wiring that day.

Remember - you'll need a 24vdc flasher unit, usually available at NAPA, or you can get one from Luke at US Coach: 1-888-262-2434 M-F 9:30-4:00 Eastern.

When it was working the rear drivers side made the clicking noise but I can't find anything back there that looks like a flasher

I found the flasher relay under the dash it only has 2 wires hooked to it but has 3 places.when I understand hook it the signals will not come on so it's definitely part of that system. Just confused
Thanks for any help

some coaches have two. One for turn signals and one for 4 way flashers.

It's fortunate that you are dealing with an older vehicle, in recent decades the varieties of flasher units have proliferated with all sort of changes to the pin assignments, wattage capabilities and more. They are no longer completely interchangable. Here's one example of the confusion you might see. On some flasher units that 3rd terminal goes to a single indicator light in the dash which flashes for both right and left. BUT if the flasher doesn't see the expected load on whichever side it is switched to that light doesn't come on, even though the turn signals may work normally. This can happen if you fit LED type light bulbs to the turn signals. There are lots of other variations so the safest approach is to use the flasher that was meant for the vehicle and the bulbs also. Upgrading can make your life difficult.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

I have been quietly watching this with great interest. Did you solve it and if so how? I hate electrical mystery issues. Our Allegro bus kept blowing tail light fuses. Could not find the problem. Finally took it to Red Bay driving only in daylight to get there, and it took them 2 days and three tries. It was a wiring harness zip tied on top of the frame that had rubbed through the insulation just enough that a bump in the road, or anytime it rained, would short out the tail lights and blow the spade fuse up front. Watching the Allegro "wizzard" who they put on electrical stuff other guys can't find was the solution. I would have never found it on my own. On my Bus I have all of them working for now, but always take notes if someone has a problem and how it was fixed. Lord knows my next one is about to happen...
Hope you worked it out for you.
