Same with base plates. I ordered on the 8th of Oct and they just emailed me and said the manufacturer would contact me directly to let me know when they would be shipped. They did and said 6 to 8 weeks. And they already took the money.

Dave I've towed 8 different toads in the last 45 years & have never purchased a base plate. I have always diy the tow bar connection to the toad with zero issues. Imho - get a refund & diy! Just saying

found my baseplates on Craigslist. Already had the Roadmaster to bar. Dad got it free from a friend. Probably find them on Marketplace too. Jeeps are pretty common.

Dave,
Mine was fabricated by a local welding shop.  There is not much to it. 2 "L" brackets coming down from the members on each side, a 6" x 3/8" plate attached to them, and receivers made of square tube.  But it might require getting some connecting parts that go to the tow bar.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

I still have the A frame towbar used with the 4104. All the vehicles towing  attachments were fabricated by my brother in his body shop. One problem I see with the new vehicles, is the  vehicle frame ends are totally covered up with plastic bumpers and under shields. Probably a big reason why the baseplate kits are so expensive these days. Best if available used.

I made three sets Dan on our other trucks and Jeep Wrangler also. But I am on the road and nowhere to work on it plus no welder on board, LOL Just easier to order them. I have all the other stuff from the wrangler, brake stuff etc, and  hook up etc.
I just need the 2" receivers and the inserts. It also doesn't have a frame its a uni-body so a little different.
Not in a hurry because we will be here in Kansas for a few months. :^

The electric fans are working out on new 4 stroke, DEF equipped engines, not 2 dogs and his 2 stroke...

Heat rejection isn't too bad on the DEF engines compared to the last of the cranked EGR engines.

Ahead of his time, slight aiming problem?

Clownboy is another excitement... he's likely off haunting the FB schoolie groups

Happy coaching!
