On my 1981 MC9 with a 6V92TA, I have one radiator that the fins have turned to powder. I am planning to increase the horsepower to about 325 and add Jake Brakes this winter so I would like to put in the 8 row radiators for the 8V92. Does anyone know of a source for a pair of good used radiators? Or even one? Would there be any problems with having one radiator larger than the other one?
[I already know I will need to (modify) the back of the compartment to get the wider radiator in.]

The other option I am considering is to stay with the six row radiators and run the Transmission fluid through a Hayden cooler (electric fan) before it goes to the oil cooler on the 6v92 thereby reducing the heat load on the radiators.

Bought my 8V92 radiators from MCI parts, now called NFI parts,  speaks to tech assistance first for free...

I would be doing a Hayden anyway, guarentee that the 740 will always have the heat taken away.

Luvrbus will better advise whether a 6V92 at higher HP settings need the extra work of fitting the bigger rads.

I got two for my 1983 MC9 from Mando @ Complete Coach Works.  They did a good job all-around.  3 or 4 years later, still no issues.

Regularly covering the Midwest, often crossing the Smokies to get to the East Coast, and occasionally all the way to the West Coast. I am hoping to build the bus in such a way that the changing seasons have little impact on our travels.

definitely  ditch the coolant to trans oil cooler. Change to an air to oil style with a cooling fan with thermostat and manual bypass switch. Hayden makes the correct sized ones for the Allison 740.
