I've got the roller with me now, I'll take it home and get new wires soldiered up with a plug he can reach . the original plug CC chose to bury above a mountain of trim, go figure. Clifford needed a new bracket for this shade anywho to make it all right.

Yeah Van awesome. We have those same blinds and with the solar blinds also. But we don't have the motors. I always thought I would get them but never did, LOL I am sure it is on a list somewhere. I have two long ones that do not want to adjust and just roll them up by hand.

We put some rechargeable remote control blinds in the house, I must say they are very nice. Have to be plugged in infrequently to recharge. The battery pack is mounted up along the header. Not exactly cheap though.

Good news! Sonja won't have to pull cords to open or close this blind lol.
  I was able to disassemble the power unit and solder up a new lead with enough wire to make reassembly simple. Unlike the cheaper units, with some finesse these can be re built using simple motors purchased thru Amazon if necessary.
