We are completing a deal on a 2007 Country Coach Magna 42 foot, with Cummins ISX 600. I will pick it up in a couple of weeks. I never thought I would go that big. But the "Queen" said since we are spending more time in the bus, both winter and summer, she wants more space with slides... I am the one that said a 45' is too big for a motor home, lol. There will be a few things to fix, but the price was right, with lots of room for that. It is relatively close in Edmonton, 4 hours away. 70,000 miles on the odometer. Really well taken care of, good shape, etc. Quite exited! She likes the interior, I like the 600 HP, lol.

I will do a video and pictures of the 5C soon for a for sale add. I am rather attached to it, having done lots to it for the last 10 years. Especially a new transmission recently, which by the way, works really well. I drove it to Pencticton BC two weeks ago, where we are now renovating our son's house. Hopefully we like the CC enough not to have regrets selling the MCI.

Wow! Congrats! Yeah, that 600hp is certainly going to silently scream up all grades, just a blur whizzing by the old MCI/GM coaches. :)

A small tear in the corner of my busnut eye... another one lured away to The Dark Side...

If the Admiral is happy, everyone is happy!

Need some power to weight comparisons, and a hill to debunk a few myths...

I ha ve been pedaling a Cummins X15 Efficiency Series set to 500 and 1850 hauling 125k of steel around, this thing likes to pull... keep the revs down, or it drinks like a sailor on leave...

Happy coaching!

Believe it or not the ISX 15 Cummins gets better mileage set @650 hp,I love mine you set the cruise and forget about it,he is going to have a learning curve with all the electronics a year later I am still finding options like the floor heat and automatic water fill is controlled by the SilverLeaf

My heart is still with buses. I am an old bus driver after all. I like different vehicles for various reasons. The CC is as close to a bus as any RV. In fact some of the features are better, like the independent front suspension, the ride is as good or better than any new Prevost or MCI. I have not driven any bus or truck with as much HP and torque.

I considered converting the DL3 that is on our place, stored for a friend, that I could have for a song. But after building and renovating several houses, I can just imagine how much work that could be.

It is a buyer's market for RVs now in Canada, with snow birds not able to go South. We got this CC for a very good price, judging from several others we looked at in the US and Canada.

They are nice till the electronics start going haywire, then they will go for a song too. Hopefully not for several years. Fortunately the electronics are getting more reliable.

You did get a buy  8)and someone is going to get a nice MCI 5 when it goes up for sale.Jim Smith just bought a RV and his Eagle going on the market. The house like the blinds and the awning are controlled by 2 modules that don't cost much and are still made I bought 2 for $150.00 each the ACTIVE air and slides are HWH they have good support and repair the boards if needed,CC has some good support groups (4) and JC can always drop by Premier Coach in Oregon for service and lessons lol I need to go to Premier ,there is nothing on  CC that is still not in production

But seriously Congrats JC, many best wishes with the CC and future endeavors.

They are neat the tag will raise so you get one in a tight spot and they have all the whistles and bells,I like the feature where you can adjust the suspension to fit your style of driving
