Hey guys and gals...

In looking at the air conditioner system in the bus tonight, I got to thinking about the heat. I have the front AC unit under the dash of course, but where does the defrost and heat come from? The only thing that is connected to the fans/vents is the AC (that I can tell anyway). I have an email into MCI to see if I can order a manual for the bus. A good manual is a necessity!

Is there a heater core mounting in the HVAC cabinet up against the evaporator coil?

The heater core should be right behind the ac core under dash.

Richard, if you slide back in the spare tire well and look up you should have no problem following the AC and heater lines up to the dash. That should show you where they are. Not entirely sure but I think the heater matrix may be behind (in front of in reference to the bus) the evaporator.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

Thanks guys. I'll look inside the spare tire compartment. I'm assuming I will be seeing coolant lines there.
