Don Smith aka Box Car Okie passed away last night a lot of people didn't like Don but he was a good friend to me

He told me earlier this year he was going to be traveling a bit this summer.  He was even thinking of coming up by me for a bit.  I haven't heard from him since the end of June though.

Yes Clifford  have not heard from Doyl or his dog coffee since he took up resisdence at your place.

My dog Sam fell in love with coffe at arally with Gene Lewis.

Had to finally put Sam down he got where he could not get around.

I think Wilma is planning that for me soon.LOL

I was just looking at the article about Sonnie's installation of a single airbag on his 10S. Don was a character, but he had a very meticulous Eagle. I guess you had to know him personally to appreciate him.

I have his bus up for sale and will post it in BCM once I clear things with Yoko,Don and I already agreed on a price of $32,500.00

I considered Don and I to be kindred spirits.  I will greatly miss his sharp intellect and his great prose.

Sorry to hear. Glad we spent time with him 3 years ago at his house in OK and met Yoko.
That is a great Bus and it was kept inside when not on the road.

Really liked don. We kept in touch long after he left the forum. Really sad to hear this. He absolutely had the nicest eagle in my opinion. Rip.

It is a nice bus a high driver driver (flat floor from rear to the front),8v92T with a CAC no after cooler,Don wanted power and it has it 515 hp
