We just came from Lake Havasu diesel price's at Loves and Pilot were @ $2.79 a gal the TSD card would need to get a discount of a $1.39 a gal to match Sam's posted price has anyone ever gotten a discount of that much ?

I have been buying fuel at Loves for the entire time TSD has allowed RV cards.
I enjoyed the discounts we were getting.
It appears that is all gone now. I agree with Clifford, I can do better at other stations.
I'm not sure what happened but the deep discount are apparently gone.

I was told by the fuel lady at TSD that the loves discount went in the crapper becuase of the current oil situation and that once things start to get back to normal they do expect to see the discounts at Loves come back in line with what they used to be. For now however, TA and Petro are offering pretty good discounts.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

I look for the discounts to settle out around $,20 per gal for RV''s it pisses you off living in AZ where you get a automatic 8 cents a gal off for RV's at the rv pumps and the TSD card is no good at the RV pumps  FWIW diesel was $1.52 here today no card needed plus no surge charge for credit card use

As the price per gallon drops, it's only natural that the discount per gallon will also drop. My guess is that the percentage is still close.

Not really true the big guys like Loves,Pilot/FJ and TA bought the diesel in futures market and now they are stuck with some high priced fuel they trying to get rid of, where the smaller operations don't have the capital to buy in the future so they buy on the open market at todays  rack price,  fuel prices have bitten the big guys in the @$# because of greed. The frignn Loves and Pilot close to me are at $2.80 a gal  drive 3 miles and pay $1.95 tops for diesel credit or cash

Current covid inspired fuel chaos is a passing storm, perhaps a lingering one, but no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Find cheap fuel and burn it.

Sometimes that will be with the TSD card, sometimes it won't be.

A lovely tool in the kit.

Happy coaching!

When we look back in time the only RV friendly outlet we had was Flying J for many years free sewer dum, free water discounts on fuel and always a free cup of coffee,That all changed when Mr.Call died in a plane crash and the kids got greedy and bought fuel at a outrageous price for the future and bottom dropped out on the price of oil. Then our government allowed the greedy bunch at Pilot to take it over by just closing a few of their no preforming fuel stops now we are at their mercy lol I remember the day Pilot took control the free sewer dump went to 5 bucks overnight

Years back Pilot was really reasonably priced. Now there's another on the opposite side of the road with much higher price & unfortunately the truckers are lined up in & out.

Another wonderful thing that happened to Flying J was the elimination of all their buffets and the switch to Denny's (at least in the East). You could count on the buffets for an economical meal that was satisfying, the Denny's end up costing more for less. There was even a Flying J in Ohio that would serve char-grilled Mahi Mahi on the buffet.
