Yeah - there are a few threads on the various RV sites about this. Apparently GS has an exclusive contract with PFJ which doesn't permit PFJ to offer any other discounts to RV owners.
I find the whole thing on the edge of disgusting. Now that TSD has shown that PFJ is willing to negotiate discounts larger than 8 cents a gallon, one has to wonder what kind of deal GS has with PFJ and if that 8 cents represents the entire discount they are getting.
My thought is that unless GS is getting something out of the discounts there would be no real reason for them to need it to be exclusive. Something smells suspicious to me.

Interesting, i can't get their website to load.

How are the cards differentiated between one we get and the rest of their truck fleet?

If we are being turned away, then what happens to their fleet trucks?

It's the giant pool of bought diesel that gets the discount, separating us splits the volume...

Plenty to bitch about with fuel discounts but does TSD offer the best overall discounts and widest acceptance except for PFJ?

I got the same tickler and completed the registration this time. Hesitated last time due to asking for too much personal and financial info. Crossing fingers a data breach or hack doesn't wreak havoc. Connected the fuel card to a checking account used for misc expenses with low balances just in case.

Apparently this is affecting the discount for their entire fleet, not just RVs.
I called Good Same today since my membership is up for renewal. Apparently they've gotten plenty of calls about this already, as the phone rep had specific instructions on how to handle calls about the TSD discount situation. I was told that I'd get a return call from a supervisor within 48 hours.

You can be sure that this has been Good Sam, having heard that this was going on, called PFJ and "reminded" them about their deal.

A call back? I smell lies or damage control...

And you can be sure Good Sam is getting a sweet return, as an RV'er is way more likely to spend more money inside than a trucker does.

Every member of Good Sam, whether a TSD user or not, should raise Cain, because a larger discount is possible...

A lot of places are more than 8 cents cheaper than truck stops if there is enough room to fill up..

Not sure I understand...
Did you get rid of the TSD card? If so, what went wrong that caused you to pull out?

I have mostly stopped getting fuel at chain truck stops due to being able to get better deals at other stations.  I can almost always save 15 cents per gallon and often more.  I used to rarely get fuel in Utah because Wyoming was cheaper, but I found the Costco in Salt Lake City has good prices on diesel.  I can barely get out of the station with my big enclosed trailer, but I haven't hit anything yet.

I don't know how things are out where you guys are, but the smaller stations around here are just that, smaller. I much prefer the larger stations like Loves, and with the TSD card it's hard to beat the price.
The local Kwik Trip is $2.65/gal, which is about what I'm seeing in most stations at the retail price. Today's retail price at Love's is $2.78/gal. But with the TSD discount it's only $2.19/gal. Don't think I'm going to find cheaper diesel around here than that. At $2.19/gal it's about the same price as unleaded gasoline.

The only fuel Loves offers here is the Bio Diesel @ that price and I don't do bio diesel,I can buy 100% diesel for $2.31 per gal and my Cummins likes it

I hope this TSD situation resolves.

Our transport system does not pay "pump price"... far from it. I want in on that...

Anything offered previously to RV'ers was total crap, as the TSD deal has shown.

I have better things to do than chase around after the cheapest retail pump price, and then wonder what is being pumped into my tank...

I prefer to observe history. Buying fuel from places that move high volumes and name brand is my preference.

I can put a coach between a bee's knees forwards and backwards, so there's no fuel station i would be afraid to " take it to the pumps". I just prefer to go to the big boys.

I like the limitless hot water showers that goes with 50 gallons of fuel.

I also really don't like that Good Sam/Camping World is screwing with this.

I hope that TSD is spoiling for a fight, and that the owner was involved in making this available to us. It would be really easy in a corporate place to just cancel it all, due to the impact on their core trucking business.
