Mini Split...I'd do it different now

I've had life get in the way for a while but I'm back. My question is for those with mini splits and what they like and don't like. I'm leaning toward mini splits in my 1986 MC9 and I'm thinking about having two systems, one in front and one in the rear for redundancy. Any durability issues and what you might have done to mitigate the potential problems, i.e. vibration?

Two systems also lets you stay at 120 volts. That's my choice too.

The bigger capacity jumps to a 240 volt unit.

Not an insurmountable challenge, but complicates the whole campground hook-ups and load limits.

I love mine and haven't had any problems. I did open the condenser unit on the second one and tied down a few things better, just in case.

Good reason why even the high end RV's are all using roof top A/C's-they're easy to replace and service. I know they don't look good, but three get the job done well.

no problem with ones in bus. Have had to replace one of freon charges in house (human error)  I bought a 25 lb of 410 R for 134$ I had gauges. easy to do. you can buy recharge kit with freon & enough for one application with one use gauge and hose for about $80. 2 in house   3 in bus   2 at tractor club building. Only the one problem in 8 yrs.  Basic AC skills go for it... no skill ----go to roof top=plug and play.  My opinion only.   Bob
