Yup, those are the same wires my 89 mci d3 have.i will get some pictures of the 99 dl3 i am working on and maybe someone will recognize if there is one i needed to keep.

The DL3 should be straight forward for wiring, lol just wait till you deal with the multiplex system on a J model

Multiplexing sounds more complicated but it seems the wiring can be less complicated (i.e. fewer) as more control and monitoring is put on less cabling. Likely, CAN system is more advanced than on the bus but mentioned more for reference.

5 multiplex computers on J they are not less complicated

Carelessly damage or cut that comm cable on multiplex...

There will be a market of scrapped projects, due to the owner being electrically challenged and unable to recover.

We have that now in analog buses...
