Maybe I'm on another planet, but as a fulltimer I don't want a quiet roof air. It's my white noise to drown out the generator, truck traffic, loud campers, Walmart parking lot riff raff and barking dogs.

You're camping in the wrong places Scott. I hear birds singing, crickets chirping, frogs croaking, coyotes howling, etc.  I like sleeping with my windows and sometimes doors open. It is called wilderness camping.
