Splendide dryer vent question

I bought a used Splendide 2000 (model WD802) washer/dryer and am now installing it in my bus.   Because space is limited and I want to keep it as close to the wall as possible, I was thinking of using 2" PVC or ABS pipe and fittings for the dryer vent that will run down and through the floor, then vent out through the luggage bay door underneath.   I know that plastic pipe is a big no-no when using normal gas or electric dryers due to the heat, but the Splendide works differently by condensing moisture against the drum.   Is the Splendide's lower vent temperature OK for plastic pipe, or will it still soften it (or worse)?   Another consideration is whether lint would stick more to the plastic pipe, even though it's smooth-wall inside, because of static buildup  -  maybe the pipe could be grounded to the bus frame to dissipate static?

Are my ideas here too out-of-the-box, or has anyone here done anything similar with their Splendide?

John,

I have had 4 of these units over the years in 3 different buses.  I HATE laundromats.  I also bought a used one and had it installed in my Eagle last year.  I just used Plastic vent hose on mine right out of the back of the machine and never had any problems.  If you have ANY question about the installation or care and feeding of a Splendide call this number and they are super helpful over the phone. 1-800-356-0766  If I remember correctly, this company is called Westland Sales.

Also, I just send you an email. Hope you got it.
