Thanks for the heads up, Pipes. I decided to do some exploring and even found our old 4106 listed. Whatever it was, it involved the original steering gear. We don't have it anymore, so it doesn't apply to us, but you got me thinking, just the same.

How I would ever figure out if our Sheppard gear had any recalls?
