Just got the CD delivered to me. Greatest CD I have purchased. 35.00 and it has the operator manual, service manual, bullitens and a vary good parts manual. Worth the buy if you own a 102d or like mine a 102dl3

If you have the spare time, you could print out a paper copy from the cd's. Them save cd's only when hard copy isn't available. I have a couple copies of my GM manuals. One is for use with dirty fingers.🤗

I do this any time I have to take our 4108 to the shop. I print out the section of the manual for the tech, since I assume that they won't have one in their library of manuals. Judging by the grease marks on the pages when I pick up the bus, they get used.

I put my cd onto a couple thumb drives. Keep 1 in the shop and the other in the bus in case i need the info. Wife thinks im nuts for reading the manuals on our holiday this past weekend

Trying to start trouble are you?

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

I downloaded the manuals off the MCI website and the one time I went looking for something, that section seemed to be missing.

I was trying to find the part number for the coolant filter and in the table of contents area is shows Section 6 to be for Cooling, with 6.08 to be for "Water Lines and Filter" .... but 6.08 was nowhere to be found. It jumps from 6.0604 to 6.0801 ... so either I'm just not using the manual correctly, or it is incomplete. I never could find the diagram showing the filter, nor any reference to it in the parts list. Someone else was able to come up with the part number, though.

Mike - Got the Detroit Diesel manual today. Wow, what a great addition to my library of manuals. Now I can finally see what the photos in the manual actually look like, as the scanned copy I had was nearly useless in that regard.

If anyone needs a specific page or section scanned in hi-res, just let me know.

Mike, I had the same problem. The schematics were truncated to the point where they just weren't very useful. Hopefully the CD is better.

I had my wiring diagrams expanded 300%. Sure makes tracing wires on the master diagam easier

The thing i dislike about the cd is the index is not vary good. Thats why i spend so much time reading it, getting familiar with were everything is.
