Describe this "overcharging"

What condition that you find what voltage?

Can you take a picture that puts that into perspective?

Happy coaching!

Yes I tried to adjusting the voltage regulator. When I started the engine with multimeter on voltage regulator reading it was 26.5 as the engine warmed up went too fast idle it jumped up to 29 right away. Bought and installed new voltage regulator same thing no adjustment just went up to 29 almost instantly it was off of fast idle. Had both D 8 batteries ( new 30 days ago ) tested today and they said they're good and nothing wrong with them. Right now I'm checking for a bad ground somewhere.
