This picture is of a little device found on the left side floor duct at the very back. Looks like a sensor of some sort?

Thanks

Need some profile pics. Wires attached?

HVAC sensors usually up front.

Looks like a place to plug in a communication device of some kind.

That actually looks like the plugs on my floor air-con/heating ducts that connect the floor illumination bulbs to 24V. My guess would be that it was to power some light.

Not a great picture, but you see that little connector in the lower left?

2 wires or one wire?

Yup, one of the plugs for underseat lighting.

Different models had different amounts of this.

Dim light affixed to bottom of a strategic seat to provide modest illumination of the aisle so peeps could find the washroom in the dark.

Be darned sure to properly terminate the wire that fed it, grounded out, it will continually trip the associated self resetting breaker and anything else that may have been put on it over the years...

Click click click...

Dangling someplace and making intermittent contact is a real treat...

Part of it in the first picture looks like an old glove.

Yes, that would be my hand:)

Yes, I believe the mystery has been solved. There are several other connections like that. I didn't notice them as we were tearing out the seats.

Thanks all.
