We are home now building ramps and making the house more friendly for the walker and wheel chair she is doing better each day.I want to thank all for your support it is tough but we are headed in the right direction now with help from my daughter that flies in from Texas for a week at a time.We appreciate the cards and flowers from around the USA and as far off as Germany and Switzerland so far she received over 200 get well cards that she cherishes and reads them over and over

Give her a hug for us and give yourself a hug too. So glad she is doing better and time will heal.
We know about that long road back and finally seems to be getting shorter all the time. :)

My mom had that happen a few years back (quite a few actually). It scared us all badly as you would know, but she made a complete recovery and now you would never know it. Hardly even seems worth remembering these days. I sincerely hope Sonja's outlook is so bright. That shadow will pass in time.

I don't have any idea what's going on with the phone numbers we bought Sonja a new iPhone 10 to work with her hearing aid and it been screwed up for a couple of weeks now oh well back to the AT&T store I guess

Good news! After my first surgery, I had to learn to do half of what I thought I could do in a day and not feel guilty when I was resting. Recovery always takes longer than you'd like and is as hard mentally as physically. One day at a time.
