Adding radiator overflow tank to generator

It still needs the double seal cap with the check valve and some radiator necks will not accept the longer cap, my New Holland tractor won't either,it's problem it is to deep

Overflow tanks were introduced via EPA related regulation, not out of the goodness of the manufacturers' hearts...

Dumping perfectly good anti-freeze out on the ground, like so many other things of our industrialised past, gives pause today.

It's been many years since they were just recovery tanks now they are fill,expansion and recovery tanks all in one, the 1st one I had to buy for my Jeep almost made me pass out

Finally got around to this project. Found a tank on Amazon for around $20. Could have gone cheaper but I wanted the tank to have an overflow hose to ground in case it was needed. The tank is on the small size, but it allows access to the side of the Perkins without having to pull out the slide each time. Should be big enough to catch the amount of coolant the thing puked up last time I had a problem. The thing can get heavy when not parked level, so I wanted to be able to maintain access.
