I-40 update

Hi All, Arizona has been working on I-40 one of the worst sections of freeway in the West and has made dramatic improvements.  Just passed over a new section of concrete fwy,  from Ash Fork to Williams, only one section of bridge rebuilding causing a single lane, around the willow springs canyon area. Some still a little rough, some oiled, some new sections, US93, new section from Dam to east of Rosies Den, the Chevron station. A bit rough, but no longer are 18 wheelers using the left lane, lvmci...

Hi Geoff, if your going east past Flagstaff,  please make a note about the condition of the freeway, seems like a lot of us use I-40, BTW, low of 19° tomorrow, lvmci...

I went the other way.  Right now I'm on I-5 headed to the Bay Area.
