For $10.00 a month, I have Telenav Track added to my extra Nextel cell phone. I leave that phone on power, hidden inside my coach. Telenav will tell me on the phone I carry, where my coach is located. It updates every minute. I get the address, the cross streets, and a map that is precise to about 50 feet.

Sp, for $120 a year, you can find your bus when you forget where you parked it at the mall?

Ok, kidding, but is this really a concern? I'm more concerned about someone trying to steal my toad than my bus. But then again,
my bus isn't real pretty yet. Still, how often does a bus get stolen (othr than the one that got stolen by the escaped con this week in TN)?

There's a well-known FL based entertainer bus outfit that installed GPS locator units in all of their buses.  When the monthly lease is late, they know where the bus is and can retrieve it fairly easily.

I can find the bus...what I need to find is the phone!
Far better is it to dare mighty things,to win glorious triumphs, even though they may be checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.  Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919)

That function is probably more for finding your kids, wife, or aging parents.   On the other hand, I'd love to have my bus ripped off so I can cash out and start over....g

For $120 bucks a year, if mine gets stolen I'll just look for it.  Probably be easy to find.   Hell, by the time it was aired up and moved, the whole neighborhood would be cheering the effort!   After 7 years my friends still look at the bus like it's from outer space or something.   Just cannot believe anyone would own such an item.   They'll bring their friends over to look at it...sorta dumbfounded.   :o    Often ask "what do you do with it? Does it run? Who drives it?"
This is good.   So far (not that it matters, I ain't getting of it) they've enjoyed watching, at safe distance, the bus building effort.
I worry more about someone getting into the thing and borrowing the contents when we're using it.   Plan to install an alarm...someday...after the headliner..and air leaks...and dash...and leaking windshield... :(
