Did you find the problem? Spent a day along the road in Oh with my L10 when the ECM died. I carry a spare, install or home on the hook. Made it to Utah and back, now home. Did a lot of looking and found no problems.

Unplug the shift pad, replace the fuse, turn on power and see if the fuse holds.

I believe I found the problem the retarder switch is melted I saw sparks when I tried a new fuse just waiting on MCI to send me a new switch, now to figure out why it melted  .Jack I did unplug the pad and it still blew the fuse that was the 1st thing I did

Maybe a loose wire on the switch? Bad switch? Does it run a relay?

awe ....... m c i .... switch's .   I remember replacing a jake switch from them at $ 80

I wanted to replace them all ( switch's )  but never could find that kind of $$$$
