OK I got an interesting question
I have a 1988 102A3   and the drive and tag axel seems to be not centered in the wheel well i.e.: to the back of the wheel well....any ideas?

Sounds like bad bushings to me .

I'm not that familiar with MCI suspension but maybe the radius rods got switched ? ?    How far off are they.....a little.....a lot ?

If the axle were moved, wouldn't that affect the driveline? It can only slide so far into the sleeve. And would worn bushings be enough that you would notice the axle looking like it's moving toward the rear of the bus? That's a scary thought  :o I must be missing something here.

A picture paints a thousand words...we have the technology now, so let's utilize it. Take a photo of the "off center" tag and we can chime in

Can't get a pic of the axels to post says file is to big.... anyway the placement seems to be about four inches to the back...Ive seen other 102s that have the same issue

Just resize the picture to 50MB and it will post. Make a copy of your picture and re name it so you don't lose your original. Then resize the copy and post. HTH

Tape measure from the center of the tag axle to the center of the drive axle and from the center of the drive axle to the center of front axle do it on both side that will tell you.

A inexpensive chalk line laser is a nice addition to your tool box owning a bus IMO
