The Greyhound bus in the middle of nowhere thread got paddle locked.  As Commander Cody sang, "A whole lotta things that I never done, but I ain't never had too much fun".  I guess we were having too much fun.

Sometimes topics just get out of hand. Human nature has a way of going too far at times.

At least it didn't get shut down before I managed to copy some cool pics!  Ha, HA

"Too much fun?, that's news to me..."

P.S.  A better copy of "FRESH CRACKLINS" is available with a PM and email address.

The guy has only been on the club for a month. He was trolling. Btw, my family is Muslim. I and my parents are the only Christians in my family.....and he doesn't know what he speaks....Islam, trust me is not a religion that preaches peace. And I for one think that the American white Christian male is seriously the most discriminated against individual in this country. I'm not Caucasian obviously, but I still feel this way. Everyone hates the white Christian American....and if he's worked hard and built a little nest egg for himself, he's the enemy for sure. It's ridiculous.

Scott -  That was very well said !      All the posts on this topic, and the padlocked one, were indeed TOO MUCH FUN to read.  I laughed harder that when reading the joke one.   You guys are great.   Keep up the good work.

When we got our first Prevost in 1990 it was less than 2 years old so it drew a lot of attention, especially since there were so few at the time that were motor homes. It became real apparent, real fast that there was a lot of resentment and anger against anyone that seemed to have more success than the next guy. We monitored the CB a lot back then and while a lot of truckers were friendly, there were a fair amount that bitter and hateful. It was OK if you won the lottery or if you were a "star", but if you earned it a lot of folks were envious.

Scott, you are 100% on target and I couldn't have said it better. I'll include you in my prayers for you to reach your extended family.

Scott I thought of this when I replied to him and was real tempted to point out that you (one of our most loved members here on the board) were of the descent he was referring to and NEVER receive any racism here that I am aware of.
But I refrained from pointing that out as it was not my place to out you to express my point!

Personally I think as a whole this group does a great job of getting along and following the live and let live theory.

And I agree that he was a troll looking to get something started!

By the way I sure do miss him.......

This and other sites are the last place to mix prejudicial remarks with the various posts. It is all about the bus, but some people are jerks and their remarks need to be ignored.

Scott,

Please stop making the bus the villain by having people thrown under it!

I much prefer making trucks the villain. ;D
On this board it should be PC to say " ....got thrown under the truck."

In my office, my co-workers know better than to make such villainous statements. :D

One thing that I noticed strongly in looking at all the pictures of your MC9 conversion, is the assistance of so many friends and family helping you. That is surely the sign of someone who is a caring and sharing person that others feel comfortable with.
