We had another uneventful road trip.  I know that most people post here when they need help have questions and things are not necessarily going as planned.  I wanted to let you know that we had an excellent trip from Albuquerque through payson AZ to Phoenix and to Rocky Point MX and back through tucson Deming and home.  About 11 days on the road without incident.  Checked everything out before we left and all was normal except one low tire.  Aired  it up and checked them all regularly and everything was good for the entire trip. Probably most bus trips are like that BUT we don't hear about them.   ;)

Sounds good Mel. That is how most trips are.

When I was driving for Brewster's in the '70s, we were assigned a car for the summer. MC 3, 5, 7, 8, and later MC9s. The more seniority we had, the nicer and newer bus we were given, and that was yours for the season. They all had 2 stroke diesels. I don't remember break downs very often at all. We drove them day after day after day without any problems. Once tuned up and set up right, they just run. We didn't even blow up tires LOL. Well once or twice, but rarely. We just had to find a half a day sometime to get them into the shop for an oil change and minor stuff to fix. Some smoked white, and black, but they ran. And we weren't gentle with them, we were hired drivers...

So what Mel is saying, they are made to run down the highway, and they do.

   HI;
      I have found, on road trips,  the bus seems to run better on the
      second day out.
