Webasto leaking fuel when running - seal rebuild kit?

I have NEVER seen one for sale. You can get a rebuilt box for about $400ish, sometimes a used one for $250 or so. I take it you have a bad board? I've heard of guys replacing the relays but fortunately, I've not seen/heard of a bad board before.

Hey clifford keep an eye on fleabay. I recently purchased a good used box for a spare for $45, and a spare u4814 pump brand new in box with shipping for $100.

And this is why I don't have a webasto. I'm happy with my electric heat and roof heat pumps and house two stage furnace. Yikes. But I admit I would enjoy just having one fuel source.

I have 2 of those to deal with in the DL the hydronic heat works good but I am trying get the factory install unit at the rear working that is still in place and tied into the bus engine and HVAC system for a backup if needed.Just what one needs in AZ

but since it is already there and hooked up I want it to work

Try a google search for Dinosaur Electronics. They mostly build circuit boards for
Dometic and Norcold, but may have others. Need to call them.

Clifford maybe you could send yours to Clay in Quartzsite. He works out of the loft at discount solar. I send all my electronic stuff to him, he can literally fix just about anything with a circuit board. He is an electronics wizard. I have been using him for years. 1-209-985-4765

That would be outside their normal scope of products, but it's not to say that they couldn't fix it. Clifford if you decide to send it to Dinosaur you can use my account and get dealer price on the repair, which is usually half. And if it doesn't fix the problem they will refund your money.

It won't start, I got a tester (440-280) from the school everything checked good for the components through the tester it will run and fire, but nothing works through the control box when you hook it back up.The school has 5 or 6 of the DBW 2010 and DBW 2020 they removed and are giving me 1 should have a good control box I would think.I do like the tester Wes the shop foreman gave me

I'm sure you checked for battery voltage between B2 and B4? And voltage on B1 when you turn on the switch? There are also fuses and a relay in the rear junction box. I'm sure you probably know more about these things than I do but I figured I would just throw it out there.

Yep checked the voltage on B1,B2 and B4 checked C2 and C5 also

When I had problems with mine last year, I called Lloyd. He was very helpful leading me through some checks to rule out motor and clutch. Turned out, the solder joints on the relays on the control board had cracked. I resoldered them and it all works great again. Lloyd told me they sell new for about $900. He said he has a guy that can rebuild them, and then he charges $400 for the rebuilt ones. Pull the board out of the case and check the solder joints on the back of the relays. You have to be careful as the varnish can make it look like a crack in the solder joint when there's not.

Lloyd is a stand up guy and very knowledgeable on these systems, until you get outside the box such as home built systems and what would work and what won't. Cost me a chunk of change in trial and error because of "that will work fine" and "sure that would be no problem ". I have found him to be almost double on parts compared to sure marine. Don't get me wrong i really like Lloyd and think he is a stand up guy and would not hesitate to use his services on a packaged unit like the aquahot or hydro hot. And he has no problem helping steer you in the right direction when you are trying to troubleshoot something.
