Fred -

I have a used LH starter in my storage unit back home in Cheney, WA, just outside Spokane.

It came off a 8V71-powered Fishbowl, so the same model as your '06.

I don't know it's operational status, would highly recommend having it rebuilt before being used.

I won't be home until April - too late for you?

RJ we should meet up some time. I work in Cheney and live in Green Acres. I think maybe I saw your coach go by my place of work last summer on SR904.
If Fred doesn't take you up on the starter I would be interested in purchasing it and rebuilding for a spare for my PD3751.

Just Curious ,but could a good rebuilder not reverse some winding's or something else internally they could do to reverse these starters??

I could be wrong but that's never stopped me in the past - I expect getting the starter to turn the other direction is relatively trivial but the Bendix needs to turn the right direction to engage and it wouldn't work turning "backwards".

The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you.
Its the last thing but its still on the list.

Just  noticed that this threat is still alive and well.
I am pleased to say that a fellow Canadian (makes it a lot easier avoiding cross border shipping) offered me a starter at a really good price so I am good to go on that front.

Thanks for all the opinions and help.
