Pex in a pipe

I was wondering if I could run a couple of pex tubings inside a single pvc pipe to protect it, would it suck up or transfer heat into the cooler pex? I just don't want to run pex with tye wraps. If I could run a pair of pex'es in a 1 1/2" pvc pipe it would be easier to run and if I spring a leak I could pull it out of the pvc and replace. I need to run at least 3 pipes for the webasto zones. After the floor is down it would be impossible to get to pex.  Your thoughts???  Thanks Ray

Ray, I think I would go one better -- for protection and ease of replacement/ repair, the PVC is a good idea.  But I would get some of that foam pipe insulation down at Home Depot and wrap around the PVC to boost the insulation value.  The pipe wrap I am talking about is only about 1/4" thick, and split down the middle -- wrap it with duct tape to seal.

My PVC had frozen and busted so I used it for conduit to run the PEX in, just slid right in since Pex OD is smaller than PVC ID

Thanks Guys, that is some good ideas for insulation but what I am really am concerned about is running 2 3/4" pexes in a common 1 1/4" pvc. One line would be a feed to a radiator or heat exchanger and the second would be a return, would one take away from the other touching each other in the same pipe?  Thanks again Ray

I think I'd run each pex in a separate PVC conduit.  At least, keeps the supply (hot) lines and the return (cooler) lines in separate conduits.  You won't lose as much heat to the return water this way.
