Removing rubber matting

What is the best an easiest way to remove the rubber matting on the floor. I've tried heat, air chisel, hand scrapper ect. air chisel gets more of the floors Than the mat. Any ideas

If your flooring is a flexible vinyl like my RTS a propane burner (I.e. "weed burner", roofing heater) using a hose and burner end will heat the vinyl flooring up in a few seconds so you are able to pull the old floor up in seconds.  

I also spent hours trying to do it with a small scraper and with the weed burner I did my 40' bus floor in less than an hour down to the plywood.  Check Harbor Freight for the burner.
