hi All, getting close to the massive celebration at the lake, that dam rally, hope you all have your reservations, or picked a free spot across from the Hoover Dam Lodge, Van has talked the Boulder City Council to add a pickup point on that dirt lot to bring you folks to the lake mead rv village park, just mention Vans name! be prepared to handle a discussion about Vans younger days. weather right now in the mid 80s, flowers and bunny rabbits are everywhere and we herd Francis the talking mule is going to make a cameo appearance at the rally, see you all soon, lvmci..

Anyone who would even consider "Wheel Chair Racing" as a side-line to a bus meet or any other public gathering, is just plain sick or at best, a low life. 

Why don't you change it to free Prostrate Exams behind the bus instead, or vigorous-hands-on hamster wrangling ... no one in their right mind wants to race wheel chairs.

If this is considered entertainment for adults, then it is pretty lame.

Hey Tom, please do not include me in any event that is disrespectful to handicapped people, head-start or not, I will not participate.  As a matter of personal preference, I find it unsavory and not worthy of my attention.

Our old Hoopie seems to be having starter issues, have not located the exact cause, but if it requires a new one, well, from what I have been able to ascertain, that would be close to $500 and would put a dent in things around here.

It could be a rocker switch on the panel or a loose wire.  I dunno.  Until I determine the "exact cause" of my problems, I am a charter member of the foot-patrol.

We don't know if we can make it or not, it is a long jag out there, and the price of the fuel alone for the round-trip would be close to a thousand dollars.  I would love to see Dan the Man, Red Ryder, maybe some of those crazy west-coasters. School-bus Jack and all of them, but I am not sure we can swing it.

We have been kicking around the idea of the NASCAR races and car hauler parade later on this spring on our way to Seattle, might look you and Van up then.  Will let you know, should know something in a couple of weeks*.

A crusty old biker out on a long summer ride in the country pulls up to a tavern in the middle of nowhere, parks his bike and walks inside.
 
As he passes through the swinging doors, he sees a sign hanging over the bar:

MASSAGE WITH HAPPY ENDING : $50.00

Checking his wallet to be sure he has the necessary payment, the ole' biker walks up to the bar and beckons to the exceptionally attractive female bartender who is serving drinks to a couple of sun-wrinkled farmers.
 
She glides down behind the bar to the ole biker.

"Yes?" she inquires with a wide, knowing smile, "may I help you?"
 
The ole biker leans over the bar, "I was wondering young lady," he whispers, "are you the one who gives the massages?"
 
She looks into his eyes with that wide smile and purrs, "Why yes, yes, I sure am."

The ole' biker leans closer and into her left ear whispers softly, "Well, wash your hands real good, cause I want a cheeseburger."

funny Don, no disrespect meant, we'll change it to skateboards! can't wait to see Clifford and Gary compete on those! we'll construct a run-a-way skate board ramp on the side of Vans bus, to reduce the downhill speed, hope you resolve the starter issue, would be great to  have you join the festivities...

So you have to lie face down to get the exam?   In that case shouldn't they be under the bus, not behind it?   I suppose you could get one while doing the other.
