Looking for a used brake drum for the front of a 53 GM 4104, does anyone know where one exists?

I might have one...might. I'll need cast numbers off drum. If numbers don't match, then all dimensions.

Check out the numbers online.  The 4104 brake stuff often matches truck stuff.

Dan when ya get a chance on the drum itself are some casting numbers that everybody I remember needed. Sometimes several separate locations and cast stamped in, a wire brush and is a pain more often as i recall.
If there's a local truck shop I think maybe your best bet for shipping, as with anyone its up there and these big shops regularly get pallets of them so can absorb some and get better pricing, as always their connection to many many drums is just plain common. If you find a number I'm glad to give the guys up the street a buzz
good luck

Because GM used 14 1/2 inch diameter drums, you're not going to find them everywhere.

The only casting number I can find is B213 or B218, the last number is pretty gone...
The GM part number is 2475453
The Webb wheel part number is 64004F replaced with 64004B (balanced)
Luke @ US coach can get it new, but I prefer to find one used (If I can)
If needed I could probably get another casting number off the other side front drum
Thanks Guys

If Luke can get them new they are being made for something more modern.  Try to find what and you may be able to find used.  But consider local new , or at least price it, you may be surprised, I have been pleased with the low cost of standard truck brake parts.

How much does new cost ? I got new Webb drums for the front of my DL and they were only $128.00 ea with shipping

I will keep the numbers for some reference.
The new number you list 64004b is available and so its the shipping. The best way is asking your local truck "shop" if it could be added on a pallet order of their usual?
In my earlier day I had some big drums turned regularly if needed when doing my own fleetwork responsibilities and these were local haul. This service has about dried up as for wage to service price options.fwiw
Here is an mci link and may offer a shipping option, but the listed is cheaper than my last purchased drum for a standard dump I did, so maybe a option if a closer shipping outlet than Luke, but who knows for 1 drum

Dan the tag axle on MCI 102 D3 uses 64004 drums.
Should make it easier to find.
I also have 64004 on the fronts of my FishBowl.

Two days ago MCI parts quoted a price on 64004B  of $277.91CDN each. 14.5"x5" for the front and tag of my '7'.
Also drive axle drum 64009B is $354.08CDN for a 14.5x8 drum

Both new and in stock for immediate shipment.

Thanks, that's about $200USD, what kind of shipping cost? Do you need an account to purchase from MCI?
