I did get it in! NEVER again!

Also just replaced the Surrette batteries. They have been in there since Jan 04. They still seem to be fine but I am going to start using the outfit more and decided it was probably time. I kept the 6 I removed. The core charge was only about $250 so I couldn't make myself give them up. They have joined the other treasures in the shop I will probably never use again!
