My link was to the Top Gear bus racing ("In the name of science") feature which I'm sure everyone has seen before. I didn't know that rival (and inferior) show Fifth Gear had done something similar (but inferior). Top Gear do actually manage to put one of the double-deckers on it's side, but only by driving it up a bank

Pretty good, and they refer to old Volvo's as "bricks", these should be referred to as Double Bricks. I doubt that they would try those maneuvers with a full load of passengers, but, nonetheless, they did pretty well.
