Do you waive at other motorhomes?

I have an old Series III Land Rover that I have taken all over the west behind my Eagle (a rare combination). When we spot another Land Rover, we mutually go crazy flashing lights, end up stopping to chat. Of course, when we pass a newer Range Rover or Discovery, there is no response whatsoever. They have no idea what their vehicle is descended from, and they would never consider leaving their air conditioned vehicle to chit chat, or so it seems.

I'm with you Bob! Between watching where I'm going keeping an eye on those gauges, trying to remember where I laid that damn cigarette down at and juggling a bottle Of Heiny from hand to hand, I just don't think I could possibly squeeze in waving

Bus drivers don't acknowledge me. But nearly every trucker waves or gives me a nod. Love it

Up here in canada I get and give waves to truckers and greyhounds/tour bussesand lots of thumbs up from pedestrians and passing motorists.Not very many waves from diesel pushers

Yea Raymond, same with us when we had the '57 Courier 96, we got lots of waves and attention from everybody, except diesel pusher RVs. I guess all they see is an old bus, way below their standards... The newer 5C looks fairly bland and anonymous by comparison.

Probably the reason the Prevost drivers don flash their lights is they haven't figured how to do it yet due to this basakwards Canadian wiring On mine ,the only way you have a daytime HL flasher is if you have your running lights on !!!
