The coach is in the shop and has been for two weeks. Waiting on a front passenger inner and outer bearing. I need to get the coach back asap to convert it so I'm wondering if I can order the part myself and hand it to them?

I don't know what the deal is there Scott the bearings are off the shelf items, they are the same as the tag.Napa had mine overnight it should be easy unless the spindle has been sleeved just go pick the bearings up and match the set,I don't know if my DL is same or not I doubt it but I have those numbers

Sounds pretty odd, and I guess ordering direct from oem.
that's a bummer
I'm curious to the know the number, its probably different than mine but does get me thinking another stock item.
I remember very well many items fell from being on shelfs because the better pc inventory.
Sure made it a pain for some items we consider standard, I suspect the shop chief is doing oem for some reasons and this is who I would talk with. It could have just a weird curve on the inner race so being a special part, and like this, its getting tough keeping all of the items.
Sorry, try an have a good day

Even if the shop is ordering from MCI it shouldn't take two weeks unless MCI is out of stock.  I would think this is still a popular enough item for MCI to stock.

MCI did send a ton of old parts inventory to a place called Vintage Parts a few years back, but wheel bearings for a C3 should be a decent sales volume.

The numbers are stamped on the bearings.  Any truck parts house should have them or be able to get them by the next day.

Mine where the same as Prevost the front drums where the same also and Prevost was a $100.00 per drum cheaper than MCI for the same Webb drum

Ok. I'll call MCI tomorrow and get some part numbers based on the VIN. Then I'll see if I can get them overnight from Napa and walk into the shop with them

Try and get the manufacturer part number if you can, the MCI part number will do you no good at napa.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Sometimes you can find cross references for MCI part numbers.  I did it for both a muffler and shocks.  I saved a ton of money in both cases by not ordering from MCI.

Well glad you got your bus back before I read this, but I was fix'n to tell ya to check w/Luke and get manf. #'s and let me know what they are as I might have them on the shelf with no use for them. Which means I'd made a good deal on them just to get them off the shelf!
