JC I think it is. Seems to run on its own these days. I even dumped the link to it. It seemed like it was You , me ,crank (Jim), and a few others and that was it. I said my goodbyes yesterday and I am done. :o

Took them 2 months just to approve my sign up request, that's why I ended up over here.

Yep Jim Eagles right. Should be pretty easy. Open your build thread on both and just work back and forth until you have migrated it or copy and paste to a word Doc and then go from there. :D

I'd suggest taking Dave's suggestion (copy & paste to a Word doc) one step further, and save it additionally as a .pdf file.  That way it can be transported across different platforms.

Who's running it? Dave Rush are you the man in charge over there still? When it first started, I wondered why we needed another forum. Seemed to me it would be best to keep info consolidated onto one forum. I love this forum...I check it every day multiple times a day. Good stuff, good peeps, and new owners joining every week :)

The guys name is Paul Robaszkiewicz. He seemed to have been offended by your last post Dave and left you a note. What Paul does not understand is no news = no views. He did state health/other issues have delayed things in his post but first update since ... February? Gotta give him kudos for carrying the site on his own nickel tho. I help admin a local racing forum so I know what the workload can be. Especially if you are overhauling the site. Early this year he asked for those interested in checking out a test site, offered but no response. Once again life/health I assume.

If the site eventually fades out is there any way to preserve the pages of discussions?  There is a wealth of information there that has been invaluable in solving several of the MCI specific problems I've encountered.
This site (BCM) is my second stop each night and has also helped me preserve sanity in this bus conversion adventure.  The contributors to these sites have become my safety net, not to mention a source of entertainment.  :)

Most of the people over there are here also and BNO or Scotts board.
Jim H As far as making 1 big post just open the board and a word Doc or PDF also and copy each post you want to save not the whole page. You can do it one post at a time so you don't get all the other things you don't want. Then open a thread on this board and copy each to it as an individual reply on your thread. Once you start it won't take that long. If you have pictures which I know you do maybe just leave those and put in a picture out of your collection or copy and paste the picture from the other board.

I don't think that board is going away it just is a pain to ask a question and it doesn't get any answers for a week.
I don't blame Jim the first owner tried but got to busy with other things and Dave really tried to keep it going. I was asked by the original owner Jim to run it for him but I didn't have the time either to do it and so it goes. ;D

I believe this board makes it because its all inclusive even though there are more GM guys here than others but that's the same on Scott's Board as well as BNO. So it is what it is. The Yahoo MCI board is pretty much gone too. Heck there is a lot of people still not contributing and staying in the shadows trolling. Maybe if some of them would log in and contribute just think what rally's we could all have.

3600 Approximate Bus owners that are on the different boards ( not to even count the ones who I have meet that are not on any of the boards)and we have maybe 30 Buses show up and it is called a good rally? It s a fun rally but think what it could be like with say 1000!... ;D

I don't care much for F/B but I do go there, the MCI page there has people that will help and I think it is part of the problem with no traffic on MCI bus talk.
Then Steve has the Vintage Bus Mechanic helping people with the GM and older buses,Scott goes there lol, about every bus is represented on F/B and very seldom do you get pissing contests.F/B has about killed our Eagle site too.
Really I have to hand to F/B you can chat and send photos so easy when you are trying to solve a problem that part I like
Life is short drink the good wine first
