I am like on Vern would say on the commercials years ago feel the heat,but Scott has a young child. I know the floor vents in our Trek will burn you if the furnace has been running for a few minutes lol but the heat feels good on a cold morning

The minisplit heat pumps have proven over and over again that they will produce good heat down to 17 degrees. Some of them even less. I have seen this proven more than once. But of course I don't have mini splits. Good info about the freezing condensate. I might relocate the furnace

High pressure systems like a mini split just generate more heat,works that way with anything high pressure makes heat
