I drove 600 miles and made it to Las Cruces NM today.  It got to 104 on the thermometer.  195 max on the water temp but my oil temp is going to 240 and above in a hard pull.  Should I be concerned?  I'm keeping the rpms up, but it doesn't help. It was 111 there today.  Even my genny climbed to 195.  The coach was nice and cool however.  I checked my oil level after we stopped for the night.  It didn't use any in 600 miles.  I'm driving to Tuscon tomorrow morning, so temps before noon will be cool.  We will head to Phoenix from there after 7:00pm, so it should be ok, too.  The real test will come Sunday when I drive from Flagstaff to Bakersfield.  Could be dicey.

David, you are good to 250* oil temperature and won't hurt the engine for short periods over 250*,generators with the 6v92 run about 200* to 240*all day long for years

What is an acceptable delta for the coolant to oil temp on a detroit? I know on my PSD anything over 25 deg is cause for alarm and start looking at replacement oil cooler.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.
