Was trying to reply to Scott's post regarding his brake light issue. There's not reply button. Is it me, the thread, or the board?

Haha. The answer is actually somewhat simple and I was slightly embarrassed. All this time I've been trying to chase down why I can't get my brake lights to work. I can't even get a signal. I spent $150 trying to deal with this and set up temporary brake lights using a micro switch and a whole lot of wire....only to realize on Thursday that the 102 happens to have a little 12 volt disconnect switch in the battery bay.....and previous owner redid everything in the tail light and brake light department on 12 VoLTs....turned the disconnect switch on and everything lit up. I took a nearby 2x4 and thwacked myself over the head good and hard for that one. 😳

Yep. That'd do it. I never did find the 12v leak in my system, but installing that switch on the 12v side cured it.
