Thanks Dave. Are you buying your replacement switches from MCI? Cliff, true. The time consuming part is starting up the bus, airing it up, pulling it out of the backyard into the street and testing it which you can't do until you're past 25mph so to the main road I go :-/

You don't need to drive it get the fast idle working if you can tap on the resume with the fast idle on and the engine rpms go up I bet the cruise will work

yes  mci  big bucks . the jake switch was a lot
before you buy any try and use one that you know works . there should be a not used switch on the dash

Scott, without a Pro Link or the DDDL program it will be hard to find.  The only way that I know would be to take the plug out of the ECM and check the pins that the switch is supposed to ground.  Every thing you do to the ECM is a ground to make it work.  There are two ways to get fast Idle, don't know which way your bus was wired.  On some MCI they used a relay and resistor to get a fixed fast idle.  If yours has a switch just for fast idle that is the way it will be wired.  If you need the pinout to check the grounds let me know.
