Does this sound right? This gentleman on Facebook bus conversions site is selling a pair of 2000 Prevosts for $30,000. 60 series and B500's in both. Someone buy these and put me out of my misery.

They look like plain jane seated coaches with no shiny stainless, so don't feel too bad. Who knows how many miles on the drivetrain, etc. Keep your MCI.

Fair price for a known drivetrain issue.

If they both need in frames, that's a responsible seller.

Be prepared to spend another $15k, and you'll be a happy camper!

happy coaching!

Hey Scott,  I think you should buy them, you need two more buses to convert.  You don't have enough  :)

Exactly the model that I have wanted for a long time. The XL2 is a more modern version of the Le Mirage, though it is now called an X3.

Those would be among the very first XL II's built.  Lots of updates came after those were built.

Yeah, the 2000 is the first year XLII. Lots of changes in subsequent years. 2003 is one of the best years, because the had the bugs worked out but still old enough to not have all the new emissions junk on them. The X3 is a completely different bus than the XLII. Just as the XLII is completely different than the XL.
