Got all the interior walls framed up. Decided to go with a side bathroom instead of a walk through like in the 8, seems I'm always waiting for someone to get out of the bathroom so I can get to the bedroom, not gonna happen any more. I'll try to remember some pictures tomorrow.

2" r-max thermasheath 3 with a r value of 13.1, with a layer of double sided reflectix over that, and 3/4 fir strips for the required air space for a total r value of over 20 for the whole assembly.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Made a little more progress today. Got some of the reflectix up with fur strips, and built one set of bunks.

A guy i know that does body and paint came by today to look at doing a paint job on the bus, quoted me 3800 to paint all the new skin. That sound fair? I know there is a lot of prep work involved with the bare aluminun and they have to use the zink oxide base coat. Seems a little high to me but I don't know. The guy is a friend of mine and I would hope he wouldn't rip me off, but sometimes  being a friend costs you in the end.

I have another quick question for you. I can't tell from your pictures but are you overlapping your aluminum panels on your skins?

That's a fair price for paint. Materials alone will run upwards of $1100 for BC/CC

Second that, and proper prep of the bare aluminum is critical.

Got the other set of bunks built today, yeah thats 4 bunks total. Got some more of the reflectix hung on the walls, and gar all the 12 volt wired for the rear half of the coach. I'll most likely be cutting the holes in the roof for some of the ac's and fantastic fans tomorrow. Progress seems to have slowed a bit, lots to do.

Been making progress, slow but sure. Doing cedar t&g and all those precision cuts take a lot of time.

2 months ago I ordered a motion window for the entry door of the MC8 and it came in yesterday. So if anyone is interested i have a brand new still in the crate never installed  motion window slider with screen for an MC8 available for your pleasure! Make me an offer.

It is not the same size as the DL3 or I would keep it, as for the size of earlier 102 models i have no clue. You can call peninsula and ask them if it will fit your bus.

Looking down the hall from the bedroom, wardrobe on the right and side bathroom on the left.

Here's the doorway into the bathroom

Looking into the bedroom from the hallway

Looking down the hall past the bunks from the galley area

Hanging walls in the front area

Mostly finished wall where the dinette and sofa will be going

You are inspiring us. We have just started our own second bus conversion, and we are on a fast track as well. We are also using Knottypine :-) I cannot believe how fast you're doing this! Definitely inspiring keep it up
