Toyo is what I try to sell to all my customers. A lot of them go for the hankook. And they seem pretty satisfied. Both seem to work well in western Wyoming.

The tires on my little bus are "DUROS".I have no idea where they were made except to say that my garage didn't smell like Harbor Freight the morning after I brought them home so I know (???) they were't made in China.  They have been on the bus for a year and a half and about 8,000 miles and they still look like new.  The ride?  I don't know----maybe there is a lot of unsprung weight---  Jack

Mine are made in China and do smell like HF but only when it is above 80 degrees outside. I didn't even ask but when I got home I saw a little printed part on the sidewall that said China. :o :D Something about the whole world being one now...From what I have heard and read there are no more American companies anymore that produce tires. Even the one here manufacturing are owned by companies in many other countries. Only way they can remain competitive now days.

Some are mentioning ride quality. Tire pressure has a big influence on this. Running the maximum pressure that the tire is rated for printed on the side of the tire will just make for a fork lift ride. Weigh your bus by axle then go to your tire manufacturer's tire inflation table and run the correct tire inflation for your weight. You won't believe the difference in ride quality. Good Luck, TomC
