That's a Sultana.   Just the job for rough roads  -  Sultanas were from before the present toll roads were built.   No more Sultanas in revenue service now  -  even 6V92 Dinas are becoming rare in MX.

I look up SULTANA and they sure had a wide variety of buses.
I'll bet that twin front steering axle was a pain to take care of.

The Bedford VAL twin-steer buses in England were a very popular design, and I've not heard that they had maintenance issues because of their four front wheels.   They rode quite well, especially considering they had small wheels that gave them a flat floor inside.

Do you remember the get-away bus in "The Italian Job" with the three Minis inside?   That was a VAL.

I don't recall that movie but I thought DINA built some like that too.
I was thinking and thought I had heard that such a design often has alignment issues.

Peru is full of twin steer buses and I know from experience they  go around corners fast, like car fast.  Have never, in a bus, been thrown around so much before or since.  Somewhere I have some pics of them...Modern Peru buses much nicer than NA buses.

Hate to say it, but most countries' long-distance buses are better than Greyhound's.   In a few days I'll be going to Mexico for a few weeks, and I'll be mostly using the Executive class services to get around  -  2+1 seating like first-class airline seats, LOTS of leg room, power and wifi at every seat, separate men's and women's bathrooms, a galley for hot and cold snacks and drinks, a meal provided when you board, and only 29 seats in a 45' bus.   Even the regular First Class services are much nicer than here.   And if I can find an older 2-stroke bus still in service I may try that as well!

Wow those are neat. I guess it has to do with the market. A charter operator in North America could for example order a J4500 with such a seating configuration and I would imagine there a few out there. But again, only if there is enough demand for such a service.
As for the quad axle, perhaps if enough NA customers wanted such a bus, PREVOST, MCI, VAN-HOOL, SETRA, TEMSA or their dealer networks would partner with one of the builders on the other side of the equator and bring it up here under their name.

Was in Mexico recently and the Dina bus had a 6V-92TA and 10spd over in it. I was watching the driver and not only was the shift pattern was backwards (they did not have the X shifter to compensate for being a rear engine), but the transmission was the old overdrive with 9th and 10th turned around. So the shift pattern was-
4/9--3/8-1/6
5/10-2/7-RR
