ac comp unloader stuck

 have a mc 8  that I cant get the ac comp to pump , some one told me a few years ago there is a way to put a vise grip on one of the oil lines to get  it to  load ,  this has done this a few times before , but I could always get it to start be reving the motor and engaging it at high rpms,  only does it when it had set a few months. any one ever done something like this, the guy who told me how to do it is not around anymore , remember he told me make sure to not do the wrong one as it could blow up the comp

     The right thing to do (if it's been acting up repeatedly) is to put a new one on your bus.  They're pretty inexpensive and they're easy to install.  Of course, if one sticks and the little "tricks" to get it unstuck don't work, you can't build up air and move the bus.  Just my opinion, but the thing to do is to change it out ASAP.

     If you need your original question answered, I hope that someone will do that.

You pinch the oil line off it is going to destroy the compressor that takes care of the rods and crank.
There is just one oil line on a MCI 8 and it is a supply line you cannot flood the compressor because it drains to the rear gear case, if you have a dryer when was the last time it was serviced ?

I 'm think you are  referring to the air compressor on the motor , in talking about the air conditioner  compressor

doesn't have a clutch, is old school has the three selenoid unloader system

How long has the compressor oil been in there? Correct type? Contaminated?

You've confirmed electric to the solenoids?

Refrigerant up to level?

oil has probably been in there at least  5 years  , does have power to the solenoids
