Thanks guys. I am not good at asking for things. I really kills my soul to have to seek help at anytime, it's just that now I am no longer capable of doing another conversion.

Our goal was to get Cat back to be near her mom and with luck I would go along with her. I have a horrid time of riding in a vehicle. The 1/2 hour it takes to get to town on the highway from here leaves me about 45 minutes to get what I need and head home.

With my medical bills, our savings, which hasn't been much for the last few years, is completely gone.

I cannot comment on our boss's reason for terminating us, even though we have been here for nearly 7 years. We have been offered a very small severance check if we keep our mouths shut until we are gone.

On the other hand, I have been told I was an @$# when dealing with the other folks here. I can only plead, "Guilty."
I won't apologize for it.

When I grew up my dad or my stepdad or the guys that I worked with would show me how to do something once. After that I was on my own and if I didn't get it right I understood I could get someone killed.

Once I understood that, I learned that being nice and coddling someone who was making an error was about the worst thing that could be done.

If I hurt anyone's feelings, I do apologize. Just be happy I'm not bopping you in the back of the head like I was.

If, after all this you still consider donating, we will be most grateful. If you don't, that is also fine.

All we really ask is that you wish us well and keep good thoughts.

Dallas best wishes for you and Cat.

I should be through the area in late January let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

Thanks again everyone! We are gradually getting things together, but it still urkks me that we have to look at motorhomes rather than buses! If I still had it within my capabilities I would do my best to find another bus to convert!

Dallas, what do you think you can spend on a bus converted or not.

Can anyone tell me how to get hold of Dallas? I have a good friend that has an 01 Eagle bus he was living in. He's dying of cancer and in the hospital and wants to sell it cheap.

Thank you, Cliff.

For anyone who is not aware, Dallas passed away last Friday. In addition to dealing with the loss of her beloved husband, Cat still has to vacate from where they
have been living for several years. She still needs much financial assistance to help her through all of this.
